What to look for under $50
You can get real quality at this price if you check these:
Material
Insist on borosilicate glass — it's heat-safe and the same material used in premium rigs. Avoid thin, no-name glass.
Size
Small rigs shine on a budget: they preserve flavor, use less concentrate and cost less to make.
Banger included
Check whether a 14mm quartz banger is included; if not, factor in the small extra cost.
Percolation
Even a simple perc or recycler at this price noticeably cools and smooths each dab.

Frequently asked questions
Are cheap dab rigs any good?
Yes, if the glass is borosilicate. Under $50 you pay less for size and decoration, not safety — small rigs actually preserve flavor better than big ones.
Does a dab rig under $50 come with a banger?
Some do, some don't. Check the listing — if a 14mm quartz banger isn't included, it's an inexpensive add-on.
What size rig is best on a budget?
Small. A compact rig uses less concentrate, delivers more flavor, and costs less to produce — ideal for a budget setup.
Do I need anything else to start dabbing?
A butane torch, a quartz banger (if not included), and a dab tool. An e-rig bundles the heat source in.
Will a cheap rig break easily?
Borosilicate glass is durable and heat-resistant. Handle it like any glass piece — don't drop it — and a budget rig will last for years.
